Like I have said in other posts. I'm leaving in just a few short days about 11 to be exact of this year 2015. Is there anything I should know? I'll be gone for a month, safe to say I'm a little nervous, but I'm sure that won't last long!

And is anyone else going soon? I think we are probably gonna start in roncesvalles if we can't make it sjppdp (I think that's right :)

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hy Adam , I wish you a a great time and a Buen Camino , Peter .

Pilgrims have been walking the Camino to Santiago for over a 1000 years. The people of Spain are great hosts and they are prepared for you. This is not their first rodeo. They want you to be safe, have a good time, and return. The Camino is well marked and it passes by many stores so pack light. Only take the things that you know you absolutely need. Leave everything that you think you might need at home. Less is more. Way more. I know there is a natural anxiety associated with the undertaking, but I promise you the Camino is virtually idiot proof. Within 48 hours you will fall into a rhythm. Soon the sound of gravel crunching beneath your boots will virtually hypnotize your brain. It's a great adventure that will change your life. Trust the Camino and it will provide.

Nervous is normal! Pre-Camino jitters is normal! But you are going early so do keep an eye on the weather crossing the high places.

Buen Camino!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Do take care as the weather is probably going to make you re-evaluate every day. Roncesvalles looks probable, even only a week from now. Remember that conditions underfoot can be bad after snowfalls.

Here is a pic from 2016, I love the simplicity of the sketch map and directions "1 km climb up, 5km flat, 5km down". I wonder how the prices are now?
