Hello together,
I am planing on walking the Camino Portugues in about two weeks.
For now I heard about many forest fires. Did somebody walk this Camino recently or lives there to tell if it is possible walking it?
Thank you very much for your help!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

I would suggest downloading an app called Fogos.pt. This will give you nearly-real time status updates on all fires occurring in Portugal. Right now, for example, I can see there's one in the Braga area, in northern Portugal. My sense is that the dangers have lessened in the last few weeks but this app can provide you a good way to monitor the situation. Just downloaded. Very helpful!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Thank you and helpful! Is there an equivalent app for Spanish forest fires?

In Spanish, but here's the Spanish government daily bulletins:

Nothing that I'm aware of, as useful as the Portuguese site.

Good luck and bon camino! Unless there's another extreme heatwave, you shouldn't have to worry too much in Galicia.
