A few of us have been following @JabbaPapa on his epic, covid-interrupted camino from his home in Monte Carlo. He arrives in Santiago tomorrow, Tuesday, on day 266(!) of his camino, which has taken him via Lourdes and Fatima. His resources are limited, to say the least. Maybe someone would make contact with him and treat him to his favourite meal of steak and eggs, with medicinal Estella grande to wash it down. If I was there myself I would consider it a privilege.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

I arrive tomorrow as well. Does anyone have a photo of JabbaPapa?

Hi @Becky 59, here is a photo of himself that @JabbaPapa uploaded to the forum's media gallery some time ago. But if he does not see this thread anyway, you - or anyone else who happens to be in Santiago right now - can of course contact him directly by private conversation to arrange a meeting of pilgrims. ¡Buena suerte!

Having just read @Jabbapapa’s penultimate post today it looks like “the Camino provides”. Nevertheless, perhaps Becky will make contact and buy him a beer! 😊

I PM’d @JabbaPapa, but I also tested positive for COVID this morning 😭. I was on the Portuguese Coastal route and my walking partner got sick; she thinks she picked it up the day before she started walking, at a medical appointment 😵‍💫. I tested positive 4 days ago and have been quarantining in Pontevedra since, hoped I’d be negative by now but no such luck. Oh well, more masks and more quarantine. Maybe I can hand off some beer money!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
