Forwarding Luggage from SJPP to Santiago

Time of past OR future Camino
Future Camino
Hi
What would you think is the best way to send some ‘non-hiking’ clothes ahead from SJPP to Santiago?
Thanks
Austin

A selection of Camino Jewellery
Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
I've used Express Bouricott twice. It's the easiest way.
You just go to their office which is next to the Pilgrim's Office in SJPDP, pay their fee, and they will give you a tag for your luggage. In the morning leave it at your accommodation before you start walking and they will pick it up.
When you arrive in Santiago it will be waiting for you at Hostal Lasalle, which has 24/7 reception, so you can pick it up whenever you want. The Hostal will even give you a nice discount on a room.

I thought Hostal la Salle was closed? I tried booking some time ago and was informed it had closed. Quite sad as it one of my favourite places in Santiago. Any updates? thanks.

Or you could just buy some clothes when you reach Santiago and support the local economy.
There is some great shopping there if you get out of the tourist area.

Ideal pocket guides for during and after your Camino. Each weighs just 40g (1.4 oz).
Yes and it only costs 70€ and it is kept in storage at one of the alberques at no extra cost no matter how long it is kept for ..good if you don't want extra weight in your backpack as I am thinking of what I am wearing over to have it stored till I am ready to return to the UK

Check out casa ivar 😊. He operates a luggage store in Santiago. Ivar recently posted a video re how this all works. Buen Camino

IMHO Express Bouricot is the way to go to send a bag or suitcase from SJPdP to Santiago, direct. The location and process is above. Albergue Hostal La Salle changed ownership. It is now named Loop Inn. this is also discussed above.

Once you are in Spain, or start from someplace in Spain, instead from France or Portugal. Just send the item to Ivar for storage until you arrive. Use the Correos. They even ship suitcases. I have done this. Their tracking service is good too.

Hope this helps.

Tom

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-

I went to their website just now and it seems to be taking bookings and no indication that it might be closed...
