We look forward to reading your blog. We begin our walk from Le Puy to SJPP in late August. We walked last year from SJPP and we did not find the route difficult to Roncesvalles.
Have you booked your sites ahead?
Bon Chemin!

Yes, we have booked the first week. From then on we will book a few days in advance. From what I have been told it is a lot harder to get accommodation on the Le Puy route. Plus the first two weekends in May are long weekends so the demand for rooms will be a lot higher. A lot of the French will be out walking.
