A severe frost last week that saw temperatures plunge to minus eight degrees Centigrade has destroyed the entire crop of Spain's biggest kiwi producer, which is located in the borough of Bajo Miño to the south of the province of Pontevedra in Galicia. The National Meteorological Office (INM) is predicting that the cold snap will continue to affect the area today, accompanied by light rain.
