Husby and I always fight to get to the outlet plugs at the end of the day and he usually wins...at least until he heads for the shower, when I unplug all his stuff and plug mine in, resulting in a bit of marital discord. With watches, phones, a Garmin Mini, AirPods…those conveniences are pretty useless when the batteries die. So I was happy to try out this little gem from Apple. At 7.5 ounces, including charging pad, cable, plug and European adapter (annoyingly, plug and adapter not included), it allowed me to snag just one outlet from husby and charge up my phone and watch. When finished, it folds into a tidy little square and it lives in the tiniest Sea to Summit ultra sil dry sac with my other electronics. At $129 on the Apple site, it’s a hefty price tag but available for less on other websites. I use it at home now, too, and it was totally worth the cost on the last trip as I dove quickly to snag just one plug. PS: I got husby one for Christmas. He forgot to take his plug on the last trip. Very cool! I'll probably stick with my millions of cords and my multi usb plug as magsafe does not work with many phone cases but it's nice to have options.

I’m leaving in a week and the weather through the Meseta looks pretty cool at night 45 to 50°F. Is that too cold for a sleeping bag liner?
