Hi all,
Delighted to join the forum. We want to go from Santiago to Sarria early on a Saturday in October. We see the helpful comments here about the 11am bus. Can we get there earlier than this? Thank you
Louise

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

What date in October?
Well… good luck… I tried to research several options.. private town car €350
It’s quite far… like a 3 hour drive (I know ppl will tell me if I’m wrong there)
No other transportation options-but that 1X daily bus.
No trains..
I was exhausted looking at options.. but I’ll be following any suggestions here too..
I’m on that 11am bus… I’m just considering it’s a quick overview of where I’ll be hiking.🥾🤷🏻‍♀️👍

Thank you. Hopefully, someone else might have found a local bus and can let us know.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

“Quite literally… there are no other local buses”-
These are very small towns/villages that we are trying to get to…
I’m here for other creative options… fro
Experienced Walkers.
If you are looking for other transportation choice - take a look at RometoRio and Omni App. These Apps are consolidators that gather, train, bus and flight options.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
You could try Blabla Car

That could “maybe be a choice..”/ but when I looked —I was looking hard -at all options.. the Blabla drivers don’t post their “work schedules/commitments “ out that far🤯🙈
As we get closer —it might develop into an option… I’m clearly a Planner (hence 3 different raincoats /ponchos)😂
I’ll probably be on the 11am bus 🚌 with everyone 😉👍

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Hello, which bus line is the 11am bus and is it direct to sarria please?

Yes-there is just one bus at 11am… it only runs once a day -just to clarify —it GOES to Sarria—but not direct (as in no stops in the middle)- there are about 12 little towns in the middle.

I just look $15. And 20 stops in the middle.
You can look it up if you want —“Rome2Rio App”

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
The question asked was: "Can we get there earlier than this? Thank you".
Maybe you are reading another question— this current Poster that I was responding to was “Dawnie”- who only asked about “Which Bus-line is the 11am bus and is it direct” See #10 entry.
