Hi from Gijon.
Pleased to report that the rain in Spain has abated a little and the local paper advises that we can expect a few days of clouds and sun, thank the lord.
If you are on the Gijon in June or July, and don't want to stay at camping Deva or the youth hostel in Gijon, then go to the information office at the far end of the beach near the church and ask for the University albergue, 15e with breakfast and WiFi, very good very clean and on the Camino.
Regards

Thanks for the info! I'm in Zarautz tonight and the weather is better than yesterday but not by much. Expect better weather by Monday!

The Norte is tough but I am loving every minute of it!
