I no longer need my maps for the VF in France (Calais to Besancon.), so I am offering to give them (as a set, not individually) to anyone planning that walk, if you are willing to pay mailing costs from Melbourne (Australia) to your address. The package weighs 700gm. Payment will have to be by PayPal.
The maps available are the IGN TOP 100 Series 1:100,000 (1cm = 1km) as listed below. Only one map is missing, for a small part of the VF route in east France. I did not think it was worth buying that map to use only a small 'corner' of it.
· Map 101 (Lille Boulogne-Sur-Mer)
· Map 103 (Amien Arras)
· Map 104 (Reims Saint-Quentin)
· Map 110 (Reims St-Dizier)
· Map 120 (St-Dizier Chaumont)
· Map 130 (Vesoul Langres)
· Map 137 (Besançon Montbéliard)
My VF route is shown in yellow highlighter on each map, but the maps were only used at home for planning, not in the field. They are in very good condition.
This website will give you an idea of the coverage of the series: http://www.stanfords.co.uk/France-IGN-100K-Top100-Road-Maps-of-France_SI00000297
If you are interested, send me a PM in the forum stating your country and town. I will work out the mailing cost and let you know. If you decide it is too much, that's perfectly fine. If there is more than one person interested, I will deal with them in sequence starting with the first PM.
