Going to the Salvador in Oct. -- some questions

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I would not rely on blankets, for one thing, they increase the odds of a bug problem quite a bit. I am pretty sure it was the nice puffy comforter in the albergue in Zafra on the Vdlp that wound up giving me my first confirmed case of bed bugs. On the Salvador, the albergues in Pajares and Bendueños have the luxury of heat, so if anything you will be too warm depending on the comfort level of the others who are there. But going in October, I would bring a sleeping bag. Buen camino, Laurie

In my recollection there were blankets available at La Robla; Pajares, and Pola de Lena. Nevertheless, depending on your intended travel season I would side with @peregrina2000 and carry a sleeping-bag on the Salvador. It can be cold in the hills and a turned ankle could turn into a very uncomfortable experience without some sort of insulation.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
There were blankets in the following albergues, July 2017: La Robla, Poladura de la Tercia, Pajares, Bendueños. I think there were blankets in Mieres but cannot be certain.
