Well, I'm back. In all of life's ups and downs these last couple of years, the Camino kind of took a back seat to everything else. I was heartbroken to see it get pushed off, year after year...even the purpose for why I had wanted to walk the way in the first place waned over time. But there was still a spark down deep. I was feeling restless this past week and I asked God for some type of directional sign...and He answered. A couple from my workplace took a huge step last year, after my support and encouragement, and went to Spain for 5 weeks to walk the Camino. I was the one who was supposed to be there, let alone BEFORE them! But I was so ecstatic for my friends and it was such a life-changing opportunity for both of them. Fast forward to Tuesday of this past week...and wouldn't you know, after not having seen them in about one year (we all work from home), I randomly ran into Ted in the morning and then Marina, his wife, in the evening. Both talked openly of their experiences on the Camino and I went home and cried. Once again, the fire has been rekindled in my belly. My first step was to get back on to the Forum and to start planning...
