GPS

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Can anyone help me with a GPS route for Via de la Plata I can buy?
I used the KMZ file on the following page last September and October on the VdlP. It was not perfect due to some path changes since it was created, but it was more than adequate, great actually. http://www.elcaminosantiago.com/Camino-Santiago-Map-Google-Earth-Camino.htm

I used it with offline maps in the Maps.Me application. Both the placemark file and application are free.

In my opinion, it is worth having some type of GPS capabilities on the VdlP.

There are many GPS tracks as you can see above....but if walking, be aware that many of the tracks are recorded by cyclists and the routes may differ from walking pilgrims in some places.
Take a look at them before downloading and compare a bit. I sometimes download more than one and can easily see the differences.
