Grace is leaving Melbourne May 26 to walk the Via de la Plat

Time of past OR future Camino
So many since 2003.
Hi fellow pilgrims and friends,

I walked the Camino Frances in 2003 and will walk the Camino again, this time from Sevilla to Santiago! My journey should start around the 2nd June so I hope to see other pilgrims (at least 1) on my way.
I am not sure that it is the wisest of moves but I am game for an adventure.

I will attend the Pilgrim meeting in Paris on my way (Friday 30th May) to get back into the 'feel' of being a pilgrim!!

Cheers all,
Grace

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Thanks John,
I needed a vote of confidencs as I head off with a little bit of trepidation. I hope it is not going to be too hot although we have had an Indian Summer in Melbourne so I am used to the heat.

Cheers,
Grace

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hello Grace

Hope you get this before you leave - Just to wish you all the best on the Via d/l Plata next month - I was on it (from Salamanca and Sanabria) in Oct 06 and really enjoyed it , especially the hilly bits in Galicia- I met a French couple in Vilar de Barrio (a village in Galicia) who had started in Sevilla and had been on the VP for nearly 6 weeks already when we met; they were very positive about it - altho' did say it was very hot some days - so I guess it's advisable to 'slip, slap and slop' (slip on a shirt. slap on a hat and slop on some 30+spf sunscreen, for non-ozzies who might be reading this) 8)

When you get to Cea the detour to the monasterio at Oseira is well-worth it! (they make and sell some great chocolate!)

happy trails and a very BUEN CAMINO

Peter
