Guide book

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Starting from Baiona in Spain....what guide book would you recommend
Any guide that with the Portuguese Way should do the trick. I walked that Way from Porto in 2019. I checked my Sellos and after Baiona I hit Vigo, Redonela, Padron then Santiago. It is well signed with a variety of places to stay. The tourist office in Baiona were very helpful with accommodation suggestions, Spend time in Baiona....,,....Ultreya!

A guide to speaking Spanish on the Camino - enrich your pilgrim experience.
Is the coastal route not the coastal route

no. The coastal from Lisbon does not even hit the coast

There is a “coastal caminho” from Estoril nearby Lisbon and this goes as far as Coimbra. on this forum the various caminhos Portugues
seethe heads in the initial page Routes in Portugal :
caminho Portugues Central route and General

Coastal from Porto( there has to be your post)

variante Espiritual

coastal from Lisbon (begins 350 kms more south than yours)

caminho de Fatima

Caminho Geira e dos Arrieiros

caminho Portugues interior. ( that is an other one than the Central route- at the east side of Portugal

you will see that the coastal from Porto has far more threads and messages than the coastal from Lisbon. Only a few pilgrims will hike the coastal from Lisbon but many many many from Porto
