I see on Gronze that the municipal albergue in Guillen is closed. Has anyone been through there recently and can advise if that's still the case? Is it a permanent closure?

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
I'll be through there in three weeks time and I'll report back!
Many thanks! Feel free to report on anything else along the way - I'll be very interested to read.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
It was closed earlier this year. We stayed at the private Albergue Luz del Camino. Very friendly people and reasonable facilities. 14 euros per person. I booked via email about 2 weeks before.
If you have time and feel like starting with 2 easy days I would suggest breaking that first stage and staying the first night in Santiponce. The Roman ruins are definitely worth a stop, as is the restored Monasterio de San Isidore del Campo.

Thanks for the feedback, I've booked Albergue Luz del Camino via email.
