Healing Pilgrim - mid-Sept start date anyone?!

Time of past OR future Camino
September - November 2013, Pamplona to Muxia (& beyond!)
Hola friends!

Please read about my story and plans for walking as of September!
http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/healing-pilgrim-s-camino-project/x/3360143?c=home

I'd prefer to walk one of less popular routes, but a scenic one; perhaps Via de la Plata (from Seville or Granada) or Valencia. I need to walk (1) slowly and probably less distances than most; (2) with an animal or person to carry my gear, & (3) with time to rest periodically. I'm giving myself up to 3 months to arrive in Santiago... fingers crossed!

I was thinking of walking solo but not sure it's safe from what I've been reading on some of the postings... :( Anyone interested in joining me, for all or part of the adventure, please let me know!

Gracias!
aj

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
AJ, I have just read your website and I think your courage is amazing!
I was pleased to read that you have changed your mind about the route. The Camino Frances is a wonderful route with more accommodation (closer together) and more infrastructure than the other, less popular routes. You will need these resources on a slow Camino.
It sincerely hope you find a group of people to volunteer to walk with you - perhaps in relays, for three or four weeks each. 90 days from mid-September will take you to mid-December which is late fall and winter walking.
I suggest you contact Margaret Meredith on this forum who has walked many winter Caminos and will have lots of advice for you. Also, read her blogs as part of your research.
Suerte!!
