Time of past OR future Camino

Wanted to say hello. My name is Joel. I've been reading a lot of good info here and I'm in the final stages of planning. I'm a 33 year old attorney, my wife, Mayra, is 30 and is working on her masters/doctorate. No human kids. We live in Houston, Texas, USA.

My wife and I will start our walk in Sarria on August 6. We fly into Madrid and will take the train to Sarria. The plan is to be in Santiago on the 10th, but like this whole trip its a guideline, nothing set in stone. We will stay where we find space. We will then likely take a bus to Finisterre. From there we will go Barcelona, Paris, Rome and Athens. Or wherever/whatever looks like fun, no reservations just need to catch our flight home from Athens on August 25th.

Hope to see you on the Way!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-

Joel, I hope you and your wife, Mayra, enjoy the adventure ahead of you! My husband and I started in SJPDP and walked the Camino Frances in 2014. WISEST decision of my life. I'm so glad I bought the tickets!

If you are going to Finisterre, have you heard about Muxia? You may by interested in Muxia as it's very close. Beautiful, soulful place on the ocean and a cathedral on the waters edge. That's where that last shot in the film, The Way, was filmed. Something about the ocean, waves crashing, makes everything fall into order. We're neighbors here in NM, so any chance to sit by the ocean makes me peaceful and I'm there!

We were able to take in Paris, too, at the beginning of our trip and then off to Dublin. After walking the Camino, an icy, Irish beer tastes fantastic!

Have a great time getting ready to go!

Planning is half the fun hu? hehe I've heard it mentioned, but I'll look more into it. Mayra wants to go to the End of the World. She is a book worm, and while she says she is no romantic, when it comes to literature and stories she is the biggest romantic. So anything that fits under that is game.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
