New member @mustang2actual here checking in. Looking back, my planning for the Camino started during school days, learning a 2nd language (French). Along with a teacher who spoke of the pilgrimage it’s always tugged at me. My wife is supportive as I’ve spoken of doing this trek for many years. Now the gears are shifting and I’m starting to put it together. The soonest ill be on the Camino is by years end, otherwise in 24.

Started walking in earnest, and will build up to regular long mileage. Lots and lots of learning ahead - language, the various routes, and getting the mind/soul/body into a rhythm. Thanks in advance for your guidance.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I'm a newbie here also, but welcome. I too found this site and searched for information for my first Camino also starting this fall. Enjoy learning here, information is endless and for anything else you will find willing help and answers to your questions.
Thru your searching you might find little gems of information long ago posted that might give them new life. I came across one today searching for ways to Ponferrada - Puentes de Malpaso passage. These are things I'm hoping to discover along my journey, hoping you find yours. BC

Looks like the camino has already started for both of you, and you are in a good path :)
Hopefully you will be on the trail soon. Welcome to the forum, use the search function and don't be afraid of asking what you want to know!

Just curious about your name, Mustang, and was wondering if you had been a Marine. I've lived in Beaufort, SC for a long time and tend to notice people and things that might have a USMC connection.

My nephew’s an E-9, but I haven’t served. Old nickname from school, and a Gunny who worked for me bestowed as my company call sign.
