Hi there,I found this site while looking for info sites on the Camino Via de la Plata, it looks really interesting.
I walked the Camino Frances in May June 2006, walking from St Jean Pied Porte to Santiago and then on to Finisterre. It was a wonderful experience, so much so that I am planning to walk the Via de la Plata in May of this year. I would be interested in contacting anyone with experience of that camino and would also be delighted to share my experiences of the camino Frances. James

Hola Iago!
There is a great website where you can plan your walk - and in case you haven't already found it, here it is:
http://www.godesalco.com/plan/plata

One of our moderators has a web site where you can read about other pilgrims' walks:
http://www.caminolinks.co.uk

The Seville Friends Association has a very nice Web page (in Spanish) at http://www.viaplata.org where you can also request a guide and/or credential by sending them an "emilio" e-mail, Sevilla@viaplata.org

Here are some more to have a look at:
Try these sites:

SIl, greetings from Canada thanks for that great site on walking sticks. I came across that site months ago and didn't save it and was unable to find it. I love those unique walking sticks and contemplating purchasing although not convinced if it is necessary and useful for my Camino. Anyway thanks again for making it known and the helpful advice for our Camino.

Peace,
niel

Hi from Korea! - Re: Hi my name is James

Hi there!
Interesting!
We have a blog in Korea to share all these useful information on Camino.

I got to know the routes, Camino through one of Korean TV stations aired on Camino.
Last year, I heard that over 500 Koreans have gone there, especially the French Route!

Boila!

:p

I read 2-3 books on walking..and Camino instantly hit me.
Here I am I have decided to go there in the summer this year..
Ambitiously, I wanted to start from Paris to St. Jean then, to Santiago..
But I found some budget issue came up.. since the route from Paris lies with some tourist attractions
like Tours and Bordeaux..

I guess I may try Le Puy route..
Today I got so much information on this route and got to know that this route is pretty good
to walk since others are there! I know French is a big crowd in Camino ranking in the 1st
in 2007.
Well, .. have a good preparation for everyone!

With respect!

Welcome...James!

You are now officially a member of the Class of 2008!

It will be interesting to hear how your walk went on the VdlP.

Please check out the Class of 2008 and see who might be traveling the Camino at the same time. The Class keeps growing by leaps and, sometimes blistered bounds. It's great to have you aboard!

Buen Camino,
Arn
