¡Hola!

Just wanted to introduce myself. :) I just joined the forum. My name is Eva and I'm originally from Madrid, España but residing in Tallahassee, Florida. My husband Paco and I (both in our early 20s, since I noticed people asking about younger pilgrims were travelling soon) will be in Spain on our honeymoon and we plan on doing the last 100km of the pilgrimage on foot sometime in July (we'd love to do something longer but have limited time).
We actually will be visiting family in (Galicia) Lugo at that time.
Any suggestions for a starting point?

Hi and welcome Eva,

My wife is from Lugo as well, we used to live in Colorado and Washington State. ... but we are now back “home “ in Santiago (I am Norwegian, but to me anywhere in Europe is home).

It sounds like Sarria is a good place for you to start.. go to the front page of the forum, here:
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.santiago-today.com/board//">http://www.santiago-today.com/board//</a>

... and search the forum for "sarria" (top right corner of page) and you will find a lot of information from people, like you that just want to walk the last 100 or so km.

Un saludo desde Santiago,
Ivar
