Does Ivan's place close for siesta or dinner? Trying to sort how to get my stored luggage and I know places close in Spain even when their doors say the hours they are open. Are we supposed to call ahead? What's the protocol? I'm sure he told me but I have tired Camino brain. TYIA

Al contrario Señora!

Heck of a lot easier than trying to figure out if your plane is leaving in the morning or the evening. I mean, seriously, 7.00 ante meridiem, or 7 post meridiem, vs 07.00 / 19.00.... yesh.

Not that many would even have a clue what the am and pm stand for anyway :)

I'm from the US and all our clocks have 12 hours showing, so AM and PM work for me as my brain automatically separates those two parts of the day/night. I must convert the 24 hour system and it always takes me a moment or two. So, my 5PM is your 17th hour. If everyone used 12:00, adding "noon" or "midnight" it would be helpful.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

I'm from NZ, so ditto, but as I've been travelling off and on for the last 40 years I kind of gave up on trying to figure out everything. I've arrived in so many places at say seven, it's been broad daylight and I've had no idea whatsoever if it was morning or evening!
So I gratefully adopted the European concept of quoting everything in 24 hours. Which of course all Airlines, Armed forces etc all use.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
