Iberia Express Check-in @ Barajas

Time of past OR future Camino
First one in 1977 by train. Many since then by foot. Next one ASAP.
Where is the Iberia Express check-in desk at MAD Barajas? Does one simply check in at the regular Iberia T4 check-in desk?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

I have only done connections from an international flight to Iberia Express so I have never checked in, but what the airport website says is that they have their own specific check-in counters. Business class counters 780-789, others 850-859. You will see the logo clearly behind the counter. Are you going to be leaving the airport and then re-checking in?

Check with the airline. If you book a ticket online, they will send you info via email concerning the Gate number and which Terminal you would depart from. As peregrina2000 asked, are going to or fro?
Are you arriving from the US and plan to make a connection to another European/Spain destination? Or are you flying home to the US? I am under the impression that T4 is for International flights meaning those that are to depart to destinations outside of the EU. And all other Terminals are for flights within the EU. Again I don't for sure, but if you can find that out, that would help.

Good luck.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Answered my own question:

Check-in counters in the terminal:

Departures of Iberia Express: Terminal T4 floor P2.

(And for the record I arrive from IAD 8:05 am @ MAD T1 via United, shuttle to T4, check-in, fly out of T4 to Santiago SCQ at 11:20 am, via Iberia Express. God willing.)
