If you had only one word to describe your Camino/pilgrimage experience - which word would it be?

Buen Camino, SY

One word! for such an experience? wow. Your question is thought provoking and many words come to mind covering emotions, spirituality and the supposed "romance" of the Camino. It also depends on the "actual Camino" experience of the individual. I completed my first Camino Frances from Saint Jean to Santiago in Sept/Oct 2016 staying in municipal albergues and the odd donativo. Real budget stuff and carried my rucksack. Did I get blisters? Yes but they were all part of the journey and the overall experience. 28 days well spent and at the end of it all, My single word is "worthwhile".

In fact it was so "worthwhile," I am setting out on my second Camino 10th September from Irun to Santiago. Same deal. Arrive, pick up the back pack and start walking.

Good luck to all out there on the Camino.
