Injury and bussing the Portuguese Coastal Camino from Porto to Vigo

Hello, due to a foot injury, I am unable to walk and have been advised against cycling also. I will be leaving from Matoshinhos on 5th September, with a group of friends, they will be walking. Has anyone used public transport or taxi services to complete this stage?
