We're Hoosiers (folks from Indiana USA). We are in our mid-70's and are scheduled to arrive in Pamplona May 1, travel to SJPP and begin our pilgimage within a day or two of then. Although we have traveled quite a bit this will be our first attempt at long distance hiking. We only plan to walk 10 miles or so a day so if we meet along the way excuse us if we do not keep up with you.

Buenos Dias and Welcome to the forum. May is such a lovely time to walk in Spain. The landscapes are a profusion of wild flowers and temperatures are pleasant. 10 miles a day is an excellent average. I sure hope that when I'm in my 70s I'll be just as able. Wishing you every success and many blessings along the Way...
