Is there an App?

Sans the cliche that there IS an App for anything, does anyone know if such an animal exists that would allow me:
set the time(er) to chime every 15 mins (my timetable to take a gulp or 2 of water to stay hydrated..works for me)
keep the time but only when I am in motion (more or less for my training phase when I do want to gauge the true distance traveled vs the actual time it took)
(Or am I being 'too dumb' and just use a stopwatch or something?)
thanks

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
On a iPhone, the Clock app allows you to set a Timer, like for 15-minutes to remind you do do something. However, it is motion independent.

I think a simple alarm on a digital watch might be an easier thing to manage though...

Thanks @t2andreo
Of course I do not have an Iphone (but an Android....not that there should be a difference)
While I am training (or even simply hiking for pleasure) I listen to the music so I am not sure if i wold hear my alarm on a watch, but obviously something 'beeping' in my earphones would do it
I'll take a look as to what the clock on my phone (LG Stylo3) does.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Lots of apps will keep total time and moving time. Cyclmeter, Strava, Gaia GPS for starters.
I've only just started using Strava - the free version. I can't seem to find how to set it so that it pauses when I do..... do I need to subscribe to premium to get that feature?

I shied away from Strava as apparently there are reports that the personal data is just 'a bit too much out there in the Net\Cloud\whatever World'

I would getting the Repeat Alarm app which I can set to go off at any prescribed interval (and you can have multiple 'alarms').
One of the features that I like is that it can alret you by saying the name of the Alarm (or any given sounds that exist on your phone). Since it is you that makes up those names - winds up being cool as you dont have to differentiate between the sounds or even remember which one means what.
Using my initial explanation - this one simply tells me 'Drink Water' every 15 mins and repeats for about 5 sec\instance (that can be set as well, but IMHO - 5 sec is more than enough)
So I can have my Drink Water Alarm set every 15 mins and my Take Rest every 50 mins :D
I like!

Now to figure out the distance walked....

No I have the basic version. When you're done and open the activity there is Elapsed Time and Moving Time. If you don't want to share your stats, Cyclemeter and Gaia both keep fairly detailed statistics (especially Cyclemeter). They're both paid apps however, but they're very full featured. Gaia has the added advantage of being able to preload maps that you can use offline. You can download the whole Camino and check your location at anytime. I found downloading maps less than intuitive but not too bad.
