Jacket/Sleeping Bag/Tent all-in-one

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Weight: Small 2lbs/13oz, Medium 2lbs/15 oz, Large 3lbs/1oz, X-Large 3lbs/3oz

It's actually not that bad, particularly for someone who was already planning on carrying a tent for emergency purposes. Plus the tent and bag part detach so you can remove them if you just want to wear the jacket.

I've seen weirder and more impractical inventions for sure!

Lol how cool. But I think I would rather sleep naked. Mmmm well maybe not. Nice though the yanks do come up with some crazy shit inventions

Hey, I'm all for sleeping naked. However, doing it outside with no protection is generally not a good idea. :)

Personally, I think in most cases, using a camping hammock makes more sense than carrying a tent. Depending on how the camino goes for me I may do another long walk next year and use a hammock. Lighter, more versatile, more comfortable, less impact on the environment and, in general more options on where to camp. I'll likely use one like this.
