Just finished our first camino

Just finished our first camino having started in 2014, walked to Santa Domingo, 2017 as far as Leon, 2019 to Palas de Rey and finally to Santiago de Compostela arriving yesterday 4 April. Delighted to have finished but sad as well. The last few days have been cold but the welcome was warm as always.
The Spanish are taking a lot COVID precautions which is to be admired, you are required to wear a mask indoors except when eating or drinking.
The villages and towns were very quiet with a lot of albergues and shops closed.
The last 4-5km of the route into Santiago is a struggle because it quite badly marked. We have never go lost on the previous 36 days but managed twice in the last two km.
If I can help anyone with questions feel free to ask. Buen camino.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Félicitations. Enjoy your time in Santiago and, when home, sorting your memories.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Congratulations! It must have been a mix of feelings for you as you finished your 8-year-long journey.

If you're in town the next few days, please do stop by the Pilgrim House Welcome Center and say hello! We're closed every Wednesday but Thurs/ Friday/ Sat we'll be open.

Awesome :) congratulation

Happy to hear I'm not the only one doing the CF on my beat-the-draft college plan. Hope to wrap-up this year...two legs left, SJPP-Burgos and Rabanel-Saria (probably back-track and take off up the Invierno to SdC).
