Hi all,

I wanted to check in and see if anyone is departing SJPdP on Sept. 7. My husband and I have each walked the Camino Frances (me in 2015 from SJPdP and husband in 2016 from Pamplona) and now we are getting the opportunity to walk it together. We can't wait to take this journey together.

Buen camino!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

I'm arriving the 7th in SJPDP, bus from Pamplona spending that night there. Then walking Valcarlos . I got that that albergue was full, but it could have been an auto responder. I'll stay at Roncesvalles on 8th.,

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

We will also stay in SJPDP on 6/7 again not yet booked. might see you Tina and Joe.we are Joyce and friend Dasni.
We are staying at the Errecaldia in St. Jean on the 6th. And I emailed the albergue in Valcarlos yesterday to reserve 2 beds. They had openings for the 7th. I didn’t want to chance it since there’s only the one albergue.

Is there a list of albergues that also have private rooms on the Camino Frances? Gracias.
Hi everyone -- After walking the Frances from SJpdP last October, I'm planning to revisit the bit between Logrono and Burgos this July, following different stages. It's the section where I had...
I started out from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port on 1 May. It turned out to be an unforgetable day. Above 1,000 m or so it snowed, catching many people unprepared. Later that day "many" walkers were...
And another attempt looms, to buy a decent Poncho after trying and failing in the previous two likely towns. Anyone know where an Altos or similar might be bought in Leon, please? 😁
