Hello everyone, again thanks for all the great information this forum provides you all are great :) I'm leaving Sunday for the Norte starting in Lourdes, thru SPDP to Irun, one regret very little preparation this time I know I'm in for it, do you really think it will be ok? I'm really nervous this time.

Thanks

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Yes you are In for it, has we all have been. But also whatever happens, difficult situations, will lead to to the moments that you know you rather not be doing anything else.

Buen Camino!

Hi Annie, I'm 2 1/2 hours from Santiago, almost finishing del Norte. A few recommendations..... Skip Baamonde if you can, stop in a place about 100 m off the road about 6 km short of Miraz, wonderful place for a break named Cafe Rustico. It made my day...nice lady owner named Alene and the food and ambiance is wonderful. Also would skip the Albergue in Miraz and stay at the CR bi terra, 647 741 545. You could walk past the albergue as far as you want and give them a call and they will pick you up and drop you back off the next day. It is run by a beautiful young couple who relocated from the Basque country. Her name is Nerea ( pronounced like nayreea) and she speaks excellent English. I have some fantastic pics to post but don't know how on the forum. Buen Camino, Rick
