I am currently on camino and at the end I have close to a week left till my flight. My question is after Santiago and fisterra I will have about a week, so can I still use alburgues or is my pilgram status void. Any advise would help.

I am on budget so hotel for a week is not something I'm looking to do.
I also do not want to go through changing both my fights from Santiago and Paris to home.
I have no problem hiking fisterra twice...but not sure if I'm allowed....anyways I'm tired and not entirely sure this is making since.

I don't think you would be able to continue to use the refugios if not walking.

Could you make a small trip to Porto? I did this after walking once. There are some very nice hostels and plenty of ways to have a great time on a lower budget. It's quite easy to get there from SdC by bus.

Have you thought of a couple of days staying in SdC before walking on to Fisterra? This is always great because it allows the reunion of those we have met along the Way.

How about Muxia? If you have the time, you might want to walk there and then on to Fisterra. It is a very nice walk as well.

Consider walking to Muxia and staying with Tracy at Little Fox House. It is donativo and from what I've heard, a wonderful experience.

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
Take a bus to Ferrol and walk the Camino Ingles? Your credential is good even after you have reached Santiago, but the one-night limit is still applicable except at a couple of the Santiago albergues.

I stayed in a Santiago Albergue for almost 1 week @23 p/n private room with ensuite and buffet breakfast. I then did some day trips by bus, eg Lugo.
This year if I have 1+ week remaining I plan to bus to Porto and walk that Camino, I should be able to get/start a new credential as this is another Camino.

What does your heart say? I feel if you look inside yourself, the answer is there you are in this moment, make ityour dream... someone who knows... be safe my friend!!! MARK

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
