Apparently it is debated whether the painting is by Leonardo or one of his pupils. Recent opinion leans towards the student.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

I love Burgos Cathedral. I once spent 8 hours in there, just looking at all the art.
I skipped it several trips until Sil Nilsen told me about it, then I felt stupid.
Wonderful place!

I probably could EASY spend 8+ hours there.... I think my stop was somewhere around 3.5-4.... as my excuse for such 'abysmal' time by my own standards I was still nursing my blisters and of course was to completely stay off my feet as per doctor's advice...and of course I didn't 🙃☺️

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Several alone and with children
And de Vinci is from Vinci vs a last name, so it would make sense if a student I suspect. I’m glad you shared this nugget of info, will check it out.
One of Leonardo’s nemesis, is buried under the street of Viana If I remember correctly. I think a Count, but don’t quote me.

Cesare Borgia. After much mucking about with the remains they are now under the path which leads to the main door of the church. You have to pass over or around his memorial slab to enter the building. Saw it there a couple of weeks ago!

This is a fascinating idea, but there's no widely accepted scholarship about a Leonardo being in Burgos cathedral. And if it really was a Leonardo, it would probably be gone because someone would've stolen it!

It's still an incredible place...

This gorgeous painting does look da Vinci-esque to my eye, but it's unlikely. Really, it would be priceless and it would've been removed and replaced with a copy. There are 24 paintings mostly accepted as Leonardo's. Half a dozen of those are still being argued about. The last Leonardo that came on the market sold for $450 million US. About 400 million Euros. And that one's being argued about.

The painting in Burgos: "The Enigma of the Magdalene."
