I´m spanish living in Seville. As i´m learning english and want to walk along the St. James´way next summer came up to my mind, .....why not join to people who would like doing thw way and improving their spanish in a friendly company?
Well, that´s my idea and my proposition to english speakers... :)
Anyway, greetings to everyone!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I guess by 'next summer' you mean June-Aug 2010. Unfortunately I won't be walking until Sept 2011 but will be trying hard to learn the language in the meantime. Unfortunately languages do not come easily to me so, as I said, I will be trying hard :)

Hi Paco -

One of my favorite parts of walking the camino is walking with spanish and french-speaking pilgrims and conversing in their language, and receiving instruction, correction and feedback from them. Walking in this way improved my spanish and french skills much more than my computer programs (although they helped a lot as well!).

So I hope you do walk with English speakers - your positive and giving approach will be welcomed.

Buen Camino, lynne

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hello Paco,

Yes, I agree, learning from others is a great thing, this is really what we are doing already on this forum. I will be walking april 2011 and are already learning a bit of spanish. Difficult languages! But i have read somewhere that it is enough to smile in 10 languages!
Buen Camino Paco!
