Building on the work of Rajy62 in this thread I’ve created a google sheet containing a list of sleeping bags, liners, quilts and blankets that are under 1kg which others might find useful.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KaJNF62YmY1SgftFdqTiFYs7_l50SZF6YnTNLKQOvgs/edit?usp=sharing

I am looking for a new sleeping bag and started creating a list which became a bit of an obsession. Categories reflect the things I am looking for. I think have captured most of the sleeping arrangements people have posted in the forums. Please treat all the values in the sheet as a guide – things might not be 100% accurate and prices tend to be RRP. If anyone wants to edit or add more info let me know and I can share the sheet with you for updates.

Hope people find this useful - Helen

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Here's one more: http://www.rei.com/product/870764/rei-travel-sack-sleeping-bag . My wife and I used these on the CF from mid-August through late September, and except for a couple of nights in Rabanal and one other location I can't remember, they were perfectly comfortable. We added an albergue blanket over the bag on those nights.

Great work!

(I suppose that "rating" is the lowest temperature in Celsius at which the bag / quilt keeps you reasonably warm?)

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
I have a sleeping bag "igneo " REI.com 19f (-7.2C) 2 Lb or .9 kilo Very good spring or fall bag. I would use it in Spain in the winter alburgues as well.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Does the charming young lady come with the liner???

I am sure she would help keep you warm on a cold night :)

Thanks everyone for your feedback I will make some updates at the weekend - Helen

Wow! Helen, this is amazing. Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together and for your generosity in sharing it. It's definitely going to save me many hours of research and narrow down my decision-making!

:) Sandra
