Logging in & privacy

Hello Ivar. I have just changed my email address (Account details) and now have a privacy issue. I do not own a computer. When I log in on a computer, I am using a friend's computer or a public one. Before, there wasn't a privacy problem as my username and password did not automatically appear when clicking to log in. Now they appear. How may I stop this?

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
This might be an issue with the browser settings. The only forum setting that I know might do this is the tick box on the login dialogue box to stay logged in, and when I tried that, it didn't retain my email or password.

When you log out, immediately try to log back in again but use a different, non-existent username and password.

Then anyone else coming along afterwards who get to the login page won't see your details by default.

Do you log into the browser itself before going to the forum website?

On your friends computer, create your own account on the browser and then make sure you log out of the browser after logging out of the forum. That way no one except you will see your details and, if you wish, you can stay logged into the forum website so long as you log out of the browser and you use a password that your friend doesn't know.

If you go to History in the browser, then Clear History and choose Last hour, or longer if you have been online longer, it should remove your details and pages visited. Check by going to the forum site and you should be able to see 😀 Also I login with my user name not email. Hope that helps.

Thanks for everyone's help. Here's the solution:

How to disable auto-saving of usernames, emails etc. and passwords in Firefox:

1 click on the username, email address or password
2 press down-arrow sign (↓)
3 press delete key

I have a question to one of the forum-members, so I tried to send him a private message, but he has limited the people who can contact him. Is there another possibility to contact him, or can one of the moderators ask him whether he is willing to accept my message?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
