Hi all, first ever Question hope you can help.
I am hoping to book return flights to Biarritz airport for my first ever Camino, I will arrive on August 31st and plan to return to Biarritz airport from Logrono on Sept 15th. However I am stuggeling to book return tickets from Logrono for either train or bus on that date. I have tried using the Rome2Rio site but keep getting nowhere. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

[Moderator note: Spelling of Biarritz has been corrected, so that searches will work.]

It may be too early for tickets. Bus is usually only a month out...you might also look at Bilbao to fly out? Might be easier to get to.s Spanish Airport inside of Spain.

Yes, bus from Logrono to San Sebastian alsa.es . There is a direct bus from San Sebastian to Biarritz airport, flixbus.fr

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Thanks all,
I downloaded a Translation app and it turns out as J Willhaus said some of the routes have not been released yet . So I think I'll go ahead and book my flights and let the Camino lead me home. (probably with a lot of help from yourselves LOL).

Thanks again all it's encouraging to know so many people are willing to help.

In my experience you can pretty well just front up at the bus station in Logroño and buy a ticket on a bus to San Sebastian or Irun.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Hello GeorgeL, Did you make it? Which transport did you favour? I plan to start in May. I only have a fortnight, so this is my tester multi day hike starting in SJPdP. I may reach Burgos but I am researching various returns to Biarritz.

@GeorgeL has not been on the forum since November 2023 when he had been in Santiago. I guess his plans changed.

All of the bus/train combinations listed above work. The optimum trip will depend on your day of travel

Thank you, I am researching lots of options but with no real plan. I don't want us to be tied to bookings or targets, just take each day as it comes. I do need to consider how long it may take to return to Biarritz airport from whichever point we reach, just to know when to stop and say adios for this time.
