A group of us are walking another week of the Camino this August/September :D and we will need to finish at Logrono. We've booked a return flight from Bilbao to UK, leaving at 10.20am the next day (honestly, why do we make our lives so busy?!) Can anyone offer advice on the easiest reliable way to get from Logrono to Bilbao airport, presumably early in the morning? Thanks, Simon

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Hi Simon

You can find the Logrono to Bilbao timetable at http://www.termibus.es.

There appears to be 6 buses a day with the earliest leaving at 7.30am and arriving Bilbao at 9.15am. You would have to allow an extra 30mins to get from the bus station to the airport so I think travelling from Logrono on the same day as your flight is a no no. The last bus the previous day is 7.30pm so maybe that would be a safer option.

Bilbao has great tapas bars so an evening there would be no bad thing!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

And if you need a place to stay, "Albergue Bilbao" http://albergue.bilbao.net
Another cheap place is the Hostal Gurea, Bidebarrieta 14, 3rd floor, phone +34 944 163 299.

The bus line is BizkaiBus and the number A3247 - it runs half-hourly from the airport to the city, and vice-versa.

Thanks for your suggestions Laura and Sil: the Forum, as ever is a superb mine of helpful and practical information - a great network! Simon
