Looking for a Nativity scene in a scallop shell

I just finished Camino Francis and could use some advice on how to purchase an item that I saw in a souvenir shop in Leon across from the Cathedral. The shop was closed as it was a Sunday but in the window were Nativity scenes of different sizes in scallop shells. I looked for them in other shops along the way but could not find one. I was hoping to find a way to purchase one online if I could, or if someone could purchase one and send it to me I could send them the money to do this. Nativity scenes are special to me and when I saw them in the window I knew that this was the special souvenir for me to take home. Thank you for any help my fellow pilgrims can offer.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Hi Patricia, I will be in Leon next April/May, so if no other forum member has solved your problem by then, get in touch and I will purchase and mail your nativity shell.

I bought mine at the monastery in Samos.I also saw them in souvenir shops/ jewellers in Santiago de Compestela , and also at the shop at Sagrada Famillia in Barcelona.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Hi SEB Thank you for your kind offer. I will keep you in mind if I can't get the Nativity Scene on the internet.

Hi Sue, I will check the Monastery on the internet and see if I can buy it that way. I checked numerous stores in Santiago but couldn't find one. Would you happen to know the name of the manufacturer and where they are located? Thanks, Trish

There's a Christmas market in the Plaza Mayor, Madrid each December. There are more nativity sets ('Belen', if you're googling in Spanish) than you could shake a stick at. I'll be passing through Madrid while it's on, but I'll have very little time there. I can certainly try, but no guarantees.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I was in Leon earlier this week and had a quick look in these shops by the Tourist Info Centre. I didn't see any like those in SY's link. There was a silver-coloured one like a scallop-shaped powder compact but it was a bit cheap looking and not very nice.

Admittedly the shops were packed so I couldn't have a proper look or ask. Glad you've got one online.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
