Lourdes accommodations Sept. 29 2018

Time of past OR future Camino
2007; Fall 2018 plan
Hello
I will be arriving in Lourdes on Saturday, Sept. 29th. Have been researching a number of hours trying to find accommodations for 3- nights before I start walk to St. JpdP . Looking for donation accepted accommodations. Tried to find Our Lady's Garden tea roomas referenced in something saw online. No luck. Trying to find monasteries or convents that take pilgrims. Tried Benedictines near train station. They don't take volunteers i exchange for bed until end of October. Would like to stay no more than mile (15-minute walk from Lourdes sanctuaries. Contacted Lourdes tourist office by email waiting for response. Have also been looking at Booking.com ; cheapest rates offered are around $35. Per night. Way above my budget. Saw Little Sisters of Immaculate conception but that is about 2-miles from center ..don't remember their rates. Have looked at lots of other sites butnot really having success.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Hi! Have you seen this website?
https://www.lourdes-france.org/hebergements-sanctuaire/

Beds are available for €12.50 - I don’t think you could give less than this in a ‘donativo’ , not in France anyway.
The Village des Jeunes have beds for €9 or €4 in a tent (I don’t know if the tent is already there but I suspect it is - you’d have to enquire).
Good luck! :)

Hi, have you tried "The City of St Pierre" known as the city of the poor.
It's just up the road from Lourdes and there's a free bus that leaves every half hour just opposite Saint Joseph's Gate. It used to be free accommodation if you did a few chores. It's an easy ten minuet walk down into Lourdes
I wish you the best of luck.
