Greetings all!

For my next Camino, I’m planning to start by flying in to France and walking the Chemin du Stevenson, then traveling to SJpdp to begin the Camino Frances. Does anybody know a reliable way to send a bag from France to somewhere in Spain?

I’d like to pack some extra stuff (books for the flights, and an extra pair of shoes in case I wear mine out), but this is not stuff that needs to be carried in my backpack.

Thanks

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Express Bourricot is often said to be the easiest way of sending bags from St Jean to Santiago.

Ivar has a recent baggage transport offer listed on this site; but I can’t recall if it functions from outside Spain. You might take a look at that.

I simply go to a post office, put my extra gear into a cardboard box, and send it that way.

Have done so several times, from France to Germany and from France to Spain, from different towns (Nancy, Air sur l'Adour, St. Jean...), never a problem.

Casa Ivar in Santiago has a storage service.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

This is not an answer to your question - but just to say the Chemin du Stevenson is wonderful. Enjoy. Bon chemin.
