Madame Chassain

I am currently walking the Vézelay route, for the second time using Madame Chassain's famous yellow guide.Last night in the gite in Bouzais the hospitalier told me that Madame Chassain died on Sunday the 18th June
after a long illness.
I would like to offer my sincere sympathy to her family and also to the Vézelay Association Les Amis de St Jacques de Compostelle.
May she rest in peace.
