Not exactly Camino but directly bearing on pilgrims life. Sunday is a lovely day for a rest, short walkabout where ever you may be, a nap, or for an interesting afternoon in a cafe/bar watching the dominoes and card games over your choice of beverage. H-o-w-e-v-e-r this Sunday may just be different. Game time 1400 Spain vs Argentina for the World Basketball Cup. Unlike fútbol, the Spanish are either bonkers or totally indifferent to basketball. This time around Spain is facing the Argentinos their natural rivals. There will be Spanish among the pilgrims, perhaps some Argentinos as well. Luckily, the ubiquitous television in any bar may not be tuned in so there may be some quiet. Should the Spanish team deliver, expect noisy celebrations until the late PM. You have been warned!
