Exactly my concerns. Being quite large I can definitely see the possibility of them rolling down. I guess I should have tried long ago. Leaving for st Jean on Monday (yay!)Same, I wear merino leggings for winter walking, with the Macabi or trousers. Never tried leg warmers.... How do they stay up?

You are right, suddenly remember how uncomfortable crotchless stockings can be. Seems like too high risk of chafing. I think I abandon the leg warmer idea. Back to packing!im not really an expert... and did it only on stockings (socks one) you may put some silicon/glue stick, let it dry, but i dont recommend very tight fabric/garments, cause it may cut the skin.
My Montbell merino leggings only weigh 105 grams
