Just thought I would give a shoutout to a fellow Niagara Falls resident and local hero who is on the Camino right now. Mike Strange is a former Olympian boxer who does a major fundraising tour each year in September to raise funds and awareness for Cancer research. I have just learned that he is (running!) the Camino this year. He dedicates each day to a child who is/has struggled with cancer. If you see a guy out there wearing a tshirt covered in names and possibly a yellow ribbon, hold some space in your heart for him. Thank you Mike, for being such an inspiration to us here at home.
