I recently walked this section of the Camino (Napoleon route to Roncesvalles) and took a few photos of some monuments along the way. Would love to know the names and/or their significance and any stories associated with them. I found one previous post identifying one of them as Croix Thibaut, but was not able to determine any story behind it. Thank you, in advance, for any information and or links.

Ok, just found out what the brass plaque is all about ... sharing for those like me that had no idea. :) Here is the link.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
#1 - Not sure right now.
#2 - Not sure but I recently read on the forum that there are about 200 numbered posts along the way up there to mark the path.
#3 - Croix Thibault marks the way where the path leaves the road. Somewhere on the forum I think I came upon the reason for the name.
#4 - Marks that you have left France and are in Navarra, Spain now.
#5 - No time to translate right now.
#6 - 765 kilometers to Santiago de Compostela.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
