hi!

i am an alum of the camino frances, and i am going to be in spain this fall. I want to devote one day to hiking an etapa of the camino del norte. i was wondering if i could get some input on the most beautiful hiking on the trail. I will be based out of Bilbao.
From what I can tell, stage "10" and "11" are nice (pobeña to castro urdiales + castro urdiales to laredo, respectively).
Can anyone advise me, as well as give me some details about the stages?
THANKS!

marti

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hallo marti,
we have a good memory of the stages
Portugalete to Pobena along the red bike trail called bidegorri, in pobena there is a very nice albergue for peregrinos
pobena to castro is also very nice along a well prepared path high on the cliffs
don't recall the stage to laredo, but laredo's beach is fantastic, check
