There is a reference in Wikipedia to a local (Pamplona) tale of St Fermin being dragged by bull. The "legend" is perpetuated in gospain.about.com, thetasteofspain.com and many many others. Google "st Fermin dragged by bulls"? Whether it was ever "true" before, it is now.

Funny thing is that it´s the first news of it. If you care to explain where you found it I´d really appreciate it.

Ondo Ibili !

If memory serves, I first read about the legend in Brierley. I am a fan of hagiography, so I looked it up and found out the truth of the matter. However, it was an interesting way to transition into discussion of the running of the bulls, so I used it.
