The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Hi Judith, Australians do not need a visa to enter Europe. Both France and Spain are part of the Schengen Zone, and as an Australian you can stay in this area for three months. On arrival in Paris your passport will be scanned and that's it.

Kiwis in Schengen countries

I am a Kiwi and looked at this last year as I was planning to spend more than three months total in the Schengen countries. At present NZ has bilateral agreements with various countries in the Schengen area so you can spend three months in each.

It might not be exactly the same for Aussies..... but hopefully it will be.

This is from a NZ govt website:
http://www.safetravel.govt.nz/countries ... tips.shtml

"New Zealand passport holders are able to spend 3 months in each of these countries because New Zealand has signed bilateral visa waiver agreements with all of the countries , that is, up to 3 months in:
Austria Belgium Czech Republic
Denmark Estonia Finland
France Germany Greece
Hungary Iceland Italy
Latvia Lithuania Luxembourg
Malta the Netherlands Norway
Poland Portugal Slovakia
Slovenia Spain Sweden
Switzerland

These agreements allow New Zealanders to spend up to three months in each country separately, as opposed to a total of three months in the Schengen area as a whole. The European Commission has confirmed that these agreements continue to be valid and will remain in force until concrete actions are taken to replace them. "

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
