Casa de la Abuelo is a new albergue in Hornillos. Very nice, beautiful yard and nice kitchen to use. We loved our stay here

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Good, this albergue may come in handy.
I asssume it is a private one.
Open from... to .... ? Cost? Possibility or reservation?
Thanks for the info.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
A Casa Rural rather than an albergue. Depends on what you are looking for in the way of accommodation.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Just spent the night there two days ago. We had a private room with bath and the nice lady running the place did our laundry for us and hung it out to try. Was a little more than I wanted to pay but we were needing the rest and there was a good selection of self-serve breakfast.

Just got to Rabanal. Started May 20. It is not crowded. No traffic jams or conga lines. But I’m not here to argue about “crowd” hysteria—I’ve done that enough over the last few years and likely...
